Only 33% of games industry workers according to the Ukie 2022 census are female, and only 10% are minority ethnic.
There is poor representation from working class backgrounds with 61% of employees coming from households where the primary earner worked in managerial or professional positions, which is significantly higher than the benchmark of the general population (37%).

This is simply unacceptable.
